Position Summary Manage all facets of the Center for Disability Studies, which promotes disability scholarship, artistry, and activism through grant-funded interdisciplinary research, a public event series, local and international community collaborations, and an undergraduate Disability Studies Minor. Partner with the Center Director on conceptualization and implementation of new funded initiatives and fellowship opportunities, including grant making, budgeting, and identifying university resources to accommodate an increased number of visitors, events, and community collaborations. Supervise clerical and student staff. Facilitate the cross-school Disability Studies minor and serve as liaison with other administrators in the cross-school minor program and the Registrar's office. Plan and staff programming, events, and related educational activities. Administer budget and finance activities on behalf of the Center. Work together with the Center Director to support the visiting fellows program. Manage website, social media, and event archiving for the Center, ensuring they are accessible. Participate in the schoolwide Disability Access Committee (DAC) and Disability, Inclusion, and Accessibility Working Group (DIA) and their working groups. Responsible for day-to-day communications with community groups and international correspondents. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00 to USD $100,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
