Requisition ID req34466 Working Title Admin Assistant 1 Position Grade 06 Position Summary The University College welcomes applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Administrative Assistant 1 staff position in the Dean's Administrative Suite. The Administrative Assistant 1 will perform a broad range of administrative tasks including oversight of the reception area of the Administrative Suite, payroll, purchases, room reservations, Pcard and finance reconciliations, and assistance with marketing and communication efforts. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in customer service and administration in an educational environment. The Administrative Assistant 1 will provide administrative support as needed to the Dean, Associate Deans, Directors, Faculty and work closely with the Senior Operations Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a creative and active environment. The Administrative Assistant 1 will become familiar with UNM policies and procedures and will complete training on systems such as Banner and various contracts. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
