Sacramento, CA

The Market Vice President (MVP) is accountable for the execution and long-term evolution of the business within a given area, including the overall direction and operational/financial management of all business activities as measured through KPIs, standards of operations, and assets that exist within the assigned area. The MVP manages and coaches a team dedicated to client delivery - both in recruitment/fulfilment and sales acquisition and growth.

The MVP is responsible for the ongoing development of a high-efficiency delivery model, delivering exceptional customer service, driving profitable growth, and creating and sustaining an inclusive and dynamic work environment.

The MVP is also responsible for ensuring standards are met regarding colleague selection, development, and retention for all colleagues in their assigned area.

Your Role & Responsibilities:



  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve scalability, agility, and efficiency.
  • Responsible for leading, motivating and coaching diverse teams along with fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for the customer/client relationship at the site level and at the area level.
  • Holds consistent meetings to proactively manage these critical relationships and identify challenges that foster the client/vendor relationship
  • Manages the day-to-day communication and engagement of colleague performance to include coaching and development of their teams to ensure all service levels and performance metrics are met.
  • Maintains high levels of client satisfaction through regular Quality Business Reviews (in-person attendance required for larger clients and problematic accounts)
  • Implements the strategy for driving profitable sales growth through client acquisition and penetration.
  • Oversees order management, applicant generation, utilization of databases and assignments, candidate funnel yield, and the associate lifecycle (engagement through retention).
  • Ensures consistent recruiting strategies are in place in each branch to ensure staffing levels are achieved and maintained well before high-demand periods.
  • Creates area operations plan to achieve goals and track results to goals, with the autonomy to adjust as necessary; and oversee safety protocols, time collection, accurate payroll and order to cash (billing and invoicing cash applications), and issue resolution.
  • Reviews financials, reporting, budget, and general data management via multiple data platforms and channels and create action plans to make data driven decisions.



Preferred Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or 5 or more years related experience.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive responsibility in operations with successful large, multi-site responsibility.

  • A proven track record of driving strong performance and key field operations metrics.
  • Track record of building talent, leading teams, training talent, and affecting change and exceeding expectations.
  • Experience building profitable sales development and growth through the management and development of sales team, specifically by establishing and managing to KPIs and SLAs.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate effectively (written and oral) with all levels, in one-on[1]one and in group presentation situations virtually and in person.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Experience using various technology platforms to drive effective decisions.



Travel Requirements:

30-50% travel time expected for the position.

MVR Requirements:

Must have a valid drivers' license with a driving record indicating a safe driving history acceptable to the company and at all times remain eligible to drive a motor vehicle under applicable laws and regulations.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $120,000 to $130,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
