Customer Service Representative - Build Strong Relationships in Commerce, CA

Hours & Pay

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience

Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

What You'll Do



  • Respond to all customer inquiries, orders, and complaints with professionalism and urgency.
  • Generate essential sales documents, including invoicing, contracts, pick lists, packing lists, and returns, and distribute them to the correct departments.
  • Guide and escalate complaint resolution as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide customers and branch offices with the requested data and backup information.
  • Regularly follow up with customers, branches, and shop/yard operations on open or unresolved issues.
  • Report any conditions affecting customer service or satisfaction.
  • Occasionally handle after-hours calls and document customer issues for resolution.
  • Assist with opening or closing branch facilities when needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.

What You'll Bring



  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Inside Sales Rep or sales desk role, preferably in the construction equipment or underground safety rental industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Excellent customer service, organization, and adaptability skills.
  • Emotional intelligence and strong collaboration skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn Infor and Salesforce CRM.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Basic understanding of operational processes (deliveries/pickups) is a plus.
