Our Collections Manager will accurately manage the day-to-day process and operations involved with collections on overdue/delinquent accounts. We are looking for someone that is detail orientated, personable, has advanced Microsoft Excel skills and has supervisory experience. You will manage and supervisor a group of Credit Representatives while also being responsible for training new team members. In this role, you will manage the aging of assigned accounts receivable portfolio and goals assigned to team members, as well as tracking over limit and/or past due customers. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM, with required after hours availability for customer emergencies.



  • Monthly reporting/matrix preparation to track trends within your team's portfolio
  • Daily interaction with team members in person and remotely
  • Assist Credit Representatives with account reconciliations
  • Work closely with Sales members and managers to resolve issues
  • Initiate demand letters, outbound calls and handle escalated customer facing issues
  • Correspondence as needed
  • Other duties as required


This opportunity will be based in the Portsmouth, NH office.

Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:



  • Business degree and/or 1-2 years credit / collection experience required
  • 1-3 years' experience in management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required
  • Knowledge of the energy industry helpful
  • Strong computer literacy skills and analytical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and aggressively
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to interact well with customers, management, and staff
