Overview

Note: (For NJ candidates) This role will be located at our future headquarters in Short Hills, N.J. Until the new headquarters is operational, the successful candidate will be offered the ability to work in our Branchville, N.J. location during this interim period.

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer - Planning & Analytics to support and enhance our enterprise financial planning systems. This role is critical to the successful transition of Planning Analytics from the IM team to Corporate Systems and will be responsible for maintaining and evolving our IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) environment. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in TM1 development, strong collaboration skills with finance stakeholders, and a passion for data-driven decision support.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance TM1 Cubes, Turbo Integrator (TI) Processes, and TM1 Rules.
  • Support finance teams during key financial cycles including budgeting, forecasting, and actuals reporting.
  • Assist with data validation, reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Develop new TM1 components including cubes, rules, TI processes, and custom reports based on evolving business needs.
  • Manage and update TM1 metadata and dimensions to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Administer TM1 security, including user roles, access controls, and audit compliance.
  • Provide daily production support to TM1 users, resolving issues and ensuring system stability.
  • Coordinate and execute TM1 system upgrades, including testing and deployment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
  • Proficiency in:
    • TM1 Turbo Integrator (TI) scripting
    • TM1 Rules
    • MDX and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • IBM Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE) (formerly Perspectives)
    • IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) (formerly TM1 Architect)
  • Strong understanding of financial planning processes and data structures.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with finance and IT teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ReportWORQ is a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise financial systems and data governance.
  • Background in supporting corporate finance or FP&A teams.
  • Experience with system migrations or transitions between business units.
