Overview

Note: (For NJ candidates) This role will be located at our future headquarters in Short Hills, N.J. Until the new headquarters is operational, the successful candidate will be offered the ability to work in our Branchville, N.J. location during this interim period.

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Application Developer to join our Corporate Systems team, focusing on supporting and enhancing Apptio Planning and Cost Transparency modules. While direct experience with Apptio is a plus, candidates with strong foundational skills in data integration, reporting, and automation will be considered, as Apptio-specific knowledge can be developed on the job.

This role will also collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate potential transitions of systems such as Target Process, currently supported by another department.


Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance Apptio Planning and Cost Transparency modules.
  • Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to ensure accurate data modeling and reporting within Apptio.
  • Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Create and manage reports and dashboards using Cognos.
  • Automate tasks and system interactions using PowerShell scripts.
  • Write and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
  • Assist with job scheduling and workflow automation using Zena.
  • Participate in system integration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Document processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Apptio Planning and/or Cost Transparency.
  • Exposure to financial systems or IT cost management.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Interest in expanding responsibilities to include systems like Target Process.
