This position is responsible for driving product scheduling and schedule compliance through the front end operations. Improving customer OTD, meeting TOC ship requirements and improving the velocity at which product flows are key outputs of this role. Solid communication between front end departments including customer service and commercial are required to provide solid commitments and execute on them. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks. * Coordinate releases with outside cut plans and ensure timely delivery of material to the forge shop. CHALLENGES: The culture has utilized outside scheduling tools with little linkage to the Oracle system. The current process is labor intensive and requires significant resources to maintain. Driving the group to utilize Oracle & MSQS and engaging IT to ensure it is user friendly to support the scheduling of the facility are critical. This position will support the Plant Scheduler in the development of a new scheduling methodology from the ground up.
