About this opportunity:

What you'll do and what you will bring:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach approximately 12 hours per term of mathematics courses which may include quantitative reasoning, precalculus, calculus, introductory statistics, and more advanced courses, depending on Department needs and applicant qualifications.

• Pursue a program of professional development and perform service activities for the Department.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a mathematical science or closely related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment, with at least 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in mathematics

• Effective written and oral communication skills

• Commitment to excellence in teaching as demonstrated by a teaching statement and/or teaching evaluations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience at the college level in undergraduate classes.

• Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, or data science by date of appointment.

• Doctorate degree in mathematics, statistics, or data science. Experience or interest teaching online.
