Role Summary
As a Relationship Banker at Associated Bank, you'll build meaningful customer relationships by providing exceptional service and recommending financial solutions that meet their needs. You'll process transactions, open accounts, and support branch operations while contributing to individual and team goals. This role offers growth opportunities through mentorship, certification, and hands-on experience in banking.

Key Accountabilities

  • Recommend banking products and services to customers using a consultative approach and company sales process.
  • Open deposit and loan accounts, process account changes, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Perform teller transactions with accuracy while delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Identify customer needs and refer clients to business partners across mortgage, investment, business banking, and other areas.
  • Support branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, ATM balancing, and service requests.
  • Mentor and assist team members, support sales coaching, and help prepare reports and sales tools.
  • Participate in local community and business activities to enhance the bank's visibility and reputation.

Education & Experience

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of customer-facing sales or service experience.
  • Banker Certification by start date.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years working in a sales and goals-based environment.
  • Experience in banking or financial services.
