Systems Engineering, Senior Advisor

The team is seeking a Reporting Suite Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in NSA and Intelligence Community (IC) reporting tools, including RAD, Grapevine, and Chronicle. This role will directly support the reporting community by leveraging years of operational reporting experience, providing training, transition support, and technical guidance as the community migrates to modernized reporting tools.

The SME will play a critical role in helping mission partners adopt and integrate the RAD reporting tool, ensuring smooth transition across the IC. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and strong knowledge of IC GovCloud capabilities.

In this position, the SME will:

Provide subject matter expertise in NSA reporting tools (RAD, Grapevine, Chronicle).

• Lead training sessions and transition activities for reporters across the IC, ensuring successful adoption of modernized tools.

• Utilize the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence) to track tickets, manage workflows, and develop clear documentation.

• Deliver customer briefings, demonstrations, and outreach to drive tool awareness and effective usage.

• Offer troubleshooting support and serve as a trusted resource for the reporting community.

• Collaborate closely with mission partners to understand reporting workflows, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.

• Partner with software developers to translate mission requirements and workflows into actionable system requirements, ensuring tools meet operational needs.

• Contribute to a team-oriented environment by sharing knowledge, best practices, and fostering collaboration across stakeholders.

This position offers the opportunity to directly impact mission success by improving reporting processes, enhancing tool adoption, and bridging the gap between operational users and system developers.

• Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph required.
