Plastic Injection Machine Operator (1st shift starting at $18.75/hour)

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Plastic Injection Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components according to specifications.

We are looking for candidates interested in 1st Shift M-F, 6:00am - 2:30pm, with overtime on Saturdays as needed.

SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Monitor injection molding machines during production runs.
2. Remove finished plastic parts from the machine and place them on skids or designated areas.
3. Perform visual inspections to check for defects or quality issues.
4. Assist with basic subassemblies or secondary operations as required.
5. Keep work area clean, organized and free of safety hazards.
6. Follow all safety rules, standard operating procedures and company guidelines.
7. Communicate any machine or quality concerns to supervisor promptly.
8. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICIATIONS:
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience helpful, but not required - training provided

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 - 50 lbs
* Good attention to detail and reliability
