Customer Service Representative

1st shift (8:00am-5:00pm)

Job Responsibilities

A customer service representative is responsible for improving customer satisfaction and providing positive customer experience while resolving inquiries quickly and effectively.

Interact with a large internal and external customer base by responding to in-process and shipped orders.
Understand the lifecycle of an order and workflow processes to effectively research and problem solve.
Investigate the status of orders using the ERP system, referring to reports, and collaborating with departments.
Ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve inquiries.
Coordinate special shipping requests and returns.
Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective action within scope of job.
Monitor and provide ongoing updates to internal and external customers.
Coordinate special shipping requests and returns.
Perform the duties of shipping, receiving and inventory processing as needed.
Complete necessary forms, paperwork, and records.
Complete additional duties, tasks, and projects as instructed by manager.

Requirements & Qualifications:

High School graduate or equivalent.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build positive business relationships with internal and external customers
Knowledgeable of company operations, work processes, products, and services
Resourceful, analytical, and ability to problem solve
Organized and detail-oriented
High level of initiative and works independently
Capable of performing basic mathematical functions
Experience using Outlook and Microsoft applications
Experience using MetalTraq ERP a plus!
Track record of excellent work performance with company.
