- The ITC Signaling Engineer is responsible for executing the Installation supervision and T&C activities related to a railway signaling subsystem (IXL, ATC, DCS) until its successful completion and handover to the customer or warranty.
- They execute test activities, train new Engineers in railway signaling systems, and ensure that the Test and commissioning process is executed based on approved procedures, properly, and in compliance with standards, regulations, and local laws.
- Ensure all needed installation documentation provided by designers and instruction changes (including field modifications -FMI) are adequately recorded, reported, and approved.
- Conducts troubleshooting of wayside/railway systems and equipment to identify root causes of failures and integration issues, and identifies/defines containment and sustainable solutions with the support of the Test team and Engineering.
- Ensures that safety and EHS are enforced in all steps leading toward solutions and during execution.
- Reports all tests and fieldwork promptly.
- Ensure identification of non-conformities, defects, and artistry issues.
- Deploys and ensures the ITC team's application of installation and T&C processes within the project.
- Support the test leads and Senior Engineers in elaborating on the shift planning.
- Ensures ITC activities are carried out correctly and on time, according to the plan, and client standards and documentation are thoroughly followed.
- Execute FMIs on-site per Engineering instructions.
- Proactive towards the development of resource competency with other T&C team members.
- Ensures EHS compliance (Zero deviation), reports, and anticipates issues.
- Reports on-site with punctuality for their shift.
- Prepare and execute tests, log analysis, and test reports.
- Ensure defect identification and correction (troubleshooting).
- Check compliance of signaling systems with system specification documents and contractual requirements.
- Commitment to the Project's main milestones as discussed during the toolbox.
- Provide daily reports through periodic KPIs.
- Record NCR, make the appropriate record on the test sheets, and report the results to system validation and the punch list roll-out.
- Write test reports.
- Ensures all design-related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including defect description and associated test context.
- Issues the REX (Returns on Experience - lessons learned) on ITC activities and proposes updates/improvements.
- Installation and T&C way of working/process/tools and the T&C Reference Library to optimize T&C performance.
- Efficiency and proactivity during the execution of the T&C tests.
- Compliance with EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards.
- Quality of anticipation, monitoring, and reporting.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Electronics or Embedded Systems.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Installation, Tests & Commissioning (T&C) activities for signaling Projects.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more signaling subsystems.
Preferred Skills:
- Good knowledge of the English language (read, written, spoken).
- Railway and signaling knowledge.
- Any other additional language is an asset.
- Previous Engineering, V&V, T&C or Maintenance.
- Team management skills.
