We're looking for a Sr UX Designer with deep expertise in Design Systems to help define, expand, and champion our system across web and mobile platforms. This is a pivotal role focused on leading the strategy, structure, and evolution of our design system, ensuring consistent, accessible, and high-quality experiences across all customer touchpoints. You'll work closely with product designers, engineers, accessibility specialists, and brand teams to drive adoption, build scalable components and patterns, and deliver documentation and tooling that empowers teams across the organization. About the Role: As a Sr UX Designer focused on Design Systems, you will play a foundational role in shaping the infrastructure that powers consistent, high-quality user experiences across our digital products. You'll collaborate closely with designers, engineers, product managers, and brand teams to define, build, and scale our design system and its core components. You'll lead the effort to ensure the system is accessible, flexible, and easy to adopt, while also crafting a vision for how it evolves to meet future needs. With a strong systems-thinking mindset, you'll deliver documentation, tooling, and standards that promote design excellence and development efficiency across the organization. You are a culture carrier, helping to mentor fellow designers, uphold quality, and foster a sense of shared ownership around the system. You'll also actively participate in team design critiques and working sessions, contributing to a culture of craft, feedback, and continuous improvement. What You bring to the Team: *Deep understanding of systems thinking, atomic design principles, and how to scale UX across multiple teams and platforms. *Strong experience building or significantly contributing to a modern design system in Figma, including component libraries, documentation, and governance. *Passion for quality, design consistency, and accessibility (WCAG compliance knowledge a plus). *Experience working closely with engineers to bring components to life with precision and performance. *Strong communicator who can advocate for systems thinking and clearly articulate design rationale to stakeholders at all levels. *Comfortable balancing long-term vision with practical implementation in fast-moving environments. *Enthusiastic about mentorship, design critique, and elevating the team's craft. We are seeking the following: *5+ years of experience in UX/Product Design with at least 2-3 years focused on design systems. *Proven experience scaling and governing a multi-platform design system. *Expertise in Figma (component libraries, variants, autolayout, tokens, etc.) and related tools (e.g., Storybook, Zeroheight, Miro). *Strong portfolio showcasing your systems work, including contributions to pattern libraries, guidelines, and cross-functional collaboration. *Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS and how design translates to code. *Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and communicate across distributed teams. *Contribute to the development, expansion, and maintenance of design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility across products. *Solid experience collaborating with cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, Accessibility, Brand, and other Design teams) to define standards, components, interaction patterns, and usage guidelines. *Strong experience building and maintaining robust documentation, design kits in figma, and internal training to support widespread adoption and contribution. *Experience supporting and mentoring product teams in applying the design system effectively while evolving it based on feedback and usage. *Ability to drive governance processes to ensure system quality, contribution workflows, and component lifecycle management. *Ability to stay current with industry besst practices in design systems, tooling, accessibility, and UI/UX design and communicate to broader org. *Skills* Product design, Ux design, figma *Top Skills Details* Product design,Ux design,figma *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Preferred Qualifications *Experience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries. *Experience with design tokens, theming, and accessibility-first component design. *Familiarity with content design, localization strategies, and internationalization. *Background in service design or information architecture a plus. *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
