Job Description (General Summary)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:
*Design and implement control systems for automated machinery and production lines.
*Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Beckhoff, Schneider Electric) and HMIs (Aveva Edge, Vijeo Designer, TwinCat HMI).
*Configure motion control systems including VFD's and robots, integrate sensors and select hardware.
*Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in control systems.
*Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
*Support system commissioning, testing, and documentation.
*Maintain compliance with safety and industry standards.
*Provide remote and on-site (in-plant) troubleshooting of control systems and their interfaces.
*Complete assigned projects to quality standards, on time, and within budget
*Interface with a global team of like-minded professionals
Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
*Solid understanding of industrial automation hardware and control systems.
*Experience with PLC programming, specifically Structured Text.
*Experience with other programming languages such as C++, C#, Python highly desired.
*Experience with version control tools such as Git.
*Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
*Strong self-management skills. Expected to proactively identify and troubleshoot technical issues by using resources such as documentation, manuals, and online knowledge bases. A high level of initiative and the ability to learn independently are essential.
*Excellent verbal and written communications skills; mastery of English language.
*Work in a team environment; acceptance of established standards.
*Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional overnight and international trips as required by project needs.
