PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Ticket Sales Cashier is an expert in issuing and selling all ticket products, Deer Valley season passes, and Ikon pass products to guests for winter activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist guests with the purchase and/or issuing of tickets, Deer Valley season passes, Ikon passes, and frequency passes
  • Maintain a current knowledge of products to respond to guest inquiries
  • Ensure that correct paperwork and contracts have been completed
  • Assist supervisors with reviewing and updating Ticket Office training manuals
  • Handle demanding situations with guests calmly and professionally
  • Able to work in multiple locations around the mountain
  • Help maintain and encourage a sense of teamwork among co-workers
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Possess excellent guest services interaction skills
  • Must be available work, sometimes independently, with guest to fulfill transactions
  • Proficient computer skills


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES FOR CALL CENTER AGENTS:
  • Handle advanced lift ticket sales and make any adjustments
  • Sell Deer Valley and Ikon season passes
  • Communicate appropriate departmental services, policies, and procedures to guests in a professional manner over-the-phone


ADDITIONAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to multitask while operating computer and telephone systems
  • Deer Valley ticket product and phone work experience preferred

  • Exemplify a strong work ethic

  • Interact with members of Skier Services peer group, agents, and supervisors in a positive and professional manner
  • Interact positively with other Deer Valley Resort employees
  • Communicate any suggestions or concerns to the manager in a timely manner
  • Speak and act professionally while on duty
  • Support/follow Deer Valley Resort policies and procedures and Deer Valley Employee Handbook guidelines


DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:
  • 12/1/2025 - 4/19/2026


PAY RATE:
  • $20.00+ per hour, dependent on experience
