This is a great opportunity to join a growing global organization and be part of a high-functioning Executive Assistant Team. This important role provides administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the Investor Relations Vice President. In working with internal and external contacts, including board members, this role deals with a wide range of highly sensitive issues under tight deadlines. This role is a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in a team environment as the Executive Assistant (EA) will be part of both the Finance organization and the Executive Assistant team.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Provide pro-active executive administrative support to Chief Financial Officer, Investor Relations Vice President, and additional support to Leadership Team members as needed including management of team calendar and operating system and team meeting & event coordination. Act as a thought partner in the supporting function.
  • Manage and schedule the CFO's calendar including prioritizing and resolving related conflicts and competing demands, proactively scheduling important meetings with internal and external individuals, and maintaining an organized global function.
  • Work closely with the CFO, CAO, and Investor Relations to support the quarterly earnings process and preparation activities for the Audit and Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Coordinate, plan, and organize small-to large-scale meetings, both onsite and via Microsoft Teams Live.
  • Assist in coordinating quarterly earnings calls and webcasts, high-level conferences, and road shows.
  • Organize and coordinate domestic and international travel accommodations and plans; prepare expense reports in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, presentations, and internal communications to support key business initiatives.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the poise and presence to work close alongside the CEO and other senior executives, along with Board members.
  • Compose, proofread and answer routine correspondence; prepare selective summaries and any follow-up actions for the CFO.
  • Must have the ability to be open to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with Executive Assistant Team on executive coverage, Board of Director meetings and large scale in-office meetings.
  • Develop, prepare, monitor, and maintain special projects and programs as requested.
  • Manage the executive's contacts.

YOU HAVE:

  • Preferred college degree in business management or related field, or training/experience in executive assistant skills, office management and/or administrative studies.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting C- Level Executives required. Experience supporting a CFO and/or Investor Relations preferred.
  • Experience supporting a global organization, planning meetings, and coordinating international travel arrangements required.
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams; with the desire to learn evolving technology platforms to help support overall communications.
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities coupled with an ability to be a resourceful team player who is extremely effective independently.
  • Proven time management and organizational skills including the ability to manage calendars and effectively maintain records and files.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional, and welcoming relationships with stakeholders, including board members, external partners, investors, and analysts.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals in a growing and fast-paced environment.
  • A strong sense of confidentiality and urgency in all tasks, are adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of support and response with concise communication.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$30.20 - $56.20 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
