Job Title: Stock Clerk

Location: Brooksville, FL

2nd Shift: 12:15 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Hourly Rate: $16.50 + $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Responsibilities:



  • Inspect product to ensure the product meets required standards, looking for defects, color variations or other quality issues.
  • Ensure that the quantity and description of the product being shipped matches the customer's order.
  • Maintain stock shelving, keeping inventory neat and organized.
  • Manage inventory and replenish stock as needed.
  • Inspect, receive and home product.
  • Build kits and manage special order items/inventory.
  • Label product as required, with accuracy.
  • Ensure orders are packaged properly in preparation for shipping.
  • Communicate with other department coordinators and expeditors to attend to any priority lines, as needed
  • Communicate with CSR's as needed for specialty details, questions or any other order issues.
  • Participate in cross-training within and outside of home department; includes learning various machines/equipment; train others through sharing of knowledge and skill.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to keep works areas clean and free of debris; to include basic recycling of materials.
  • Dispose of hazardous and all other waste materials in accordance with regulatory policy and procedure.
  • Report all unsafe activities to Plant Manager, Safety Director or Human Resources.
  • Comply with all safety and environmental rules, regulations and guidelines, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the company's mission, values and goals.



Requirements:



  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years' shipping or related experience preferred
  • Ability to organize, set priorities, meet deadlines and perform multi-tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Good reading, spelling and comprehension skills.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must have a good understanding of basic math functions.
  • Must demonstrate a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to take direction and work well with others.
  • Ability to meet daily production goals.
  • Must be able to meet production demands in a fast-paced environment and work Monday-Friday production shift hours with mandatory overtime, including Saturdays.
  • Must be punctual and have good attendance.


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:



  • Ability to be on your feet, standing and/or walking, for the duration of your shift.
  • Ability to move large quantities of product with carts, buckets, dollies, hand trucks or other moving equipment.
  • Ability to perform actions such as bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, climbing up and down a ladder, lifting, and repetitive motion.
  • May be required to handle material up to 50 pounds in weight.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around machinery or equipment with moving parts.
  • Could be exposed to dust, noise or hazardous materials.
