Title: CNC Machinist Location: Chandler, AZ 85286 Duration: 12 months Shift Timing: 1^st Shift Pay Rate: $35/hr. on W2 without benefits Role & Responsibilities: Set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills, 5-axis CNC mills and multi-axis CNC lathes. Cut stock materials in preparation for machining parts. Use calibrated, precision measuring tools to check part features throughout machining to ensure part quality. Provide feedback to CNC programmers to help improve machining processes. Create simple CNC programs using NX CAM Apply clean-as-you-go and 5S principles while performing work daily. Basic Qualifications: 6 years machining experience. 4 or more years setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes. Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and address conflict in a constructive manner. This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen. Preferred Qualifications: 10 or more machining experience. 7 or more years setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes. 2 or more years programming CNC machines using CAM software Working with Mitsubishi controls on a DMG-Mori lathe. Working with Haas controls on Haas 3-axis and 5-axis mills. Familiarity with aerospace industry documentation, specifications and quality requirements.
