POSITION SUMMARY

Stratton Mountain Club is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Servers to join our dynamic food & beverage teams. The main goal of these positions is to ensure high quality service and exceed all our customers' expectations for an efficiently operated event. All applicants should be experienced in the service industry particularly serving guests at upscale restaurants, working catering events or bartending. Fine dining service experience preferred. This is a seasonal role with full-time and part-time opportunities available. This role is compensated at $8.75/hr + tips.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Setting up & breaking down prior to & post service
  • Ability to create & maintain positive rapport with everchanging clientele
  • Clear understanding of the steps of service in an upscale/fine dining environment
  • Daily close-outs and deposits, as assigned
  • To arrive at your shift in uniform, well groomed, with a positive attitude
  • Possesses a proficient knowledge of wine, beer & liquor
  • Handle all guest concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Additional duties as assigned


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, required


Experience:
  • Previous service industry experience
  • Vermont DLC certification


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Flexible work schedule that may include early mornings and will include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and walk with at least 40 pounds
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Certified to serve alcohol in accordance with Vermont State Liquor Laws
  • Must be organized, be able to multitask and be able to make quick independent decisions


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
