ChristianaCare is seeking afull-time Service Assistant IIto support our Textiles department by ensuring clean, sanitary linens are processed and delivered with care. This vital role helps keep our operating rooms and hospital spaces safe and ready for healing.

Schedule:
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Includesevery other weekendandholiday rotation

What You'll Do:

• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens - including surgical packs
• Inspect and repair linens to meet hospital standards
• Restock carts and deliver linens to designated areas
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Uphold safety standards and report any concerns promptly

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year of experience or on-the-job training
• Ability to operate laundry machinery and follow procedures
• Strong hand-eye coordination and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to chemicals, odors, loud noises, and potentially infectious materials
• Fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety and teamwork
