Degree Requirements
- BS degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Must have at least one of the following or equivalent:
- CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, ISC CISSP, and others, depending on the specific technical or management role.

- Installation and Configuration: Set up and install new hardware, software, and network infrastructure, such as servers and firewalls.
- Maintenance and Upgrades: Keep systems running smoothly by applying software updates, patches, and performing regular hardware and software upgrades.
Security Management: Implement and manage security protocols, including access controls, user permissions, strong passwords, and network firewalls, to protect against threats and breaches. - Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, and provide technical assistance to end-users.
- Server and Network Administration: Manage and configure network servers, file systems, and network equipment to ensure reliable performance.
- User Account Management: Create, manage, and update user accounts, including setting user permissions and managing credentials.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues to optimize uptime and efficiency.
- Data Backup and Recovery: Perform regular data backups and implement disaster recovery plans to protect against data loss.
- Security Audits and Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability scanning, and implement secure configurations to identify and mitigate risks.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems, procedures, and IT policies for internal use and user training.
