 In the role of Senior Bridge CAD/BIM Specialist, we'll count on you to: 
     Create and maintain 3D bridge models, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output.Be responsible for bridge models and generating the BIM elements, based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scopeHave an advanced understanding of engineering documentation, plan presentation for the bridge design, and how it interacts with other discipline modelsAccurately model BIM elements in the correct special constraints of the modeling environment, using the current 3D softwarePrepare detailed drawings, layouts and sketches for conventional concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls and miscellaneous structures using computer-aided design softwareDevelop details for complex concrete and steel bridges which may include: prestressed concrete, cast-in-place concrete, steel plate girder, segmental and cable-stayed, and box culvertTypical projects will be for highway and railway projectsDemonstrate ability to work independently with direction from supervisor and engineersAttention to detail is highly desirablePerform other duties as neededExecute all Digital Delivery requirements identified on the projectPreferred QualificationsAssociates degree in Engineering TechnologyStrong computer skills using Microsoft OfficeExperience in bridge structural draftingExperience working with BrIM, OBM or other 3D CAD softwareExperience and knowledge of TxDOT CAD Standards, knowledge and experience of other DOT Standards is a plus.Preference given to local candidates

      Technical degree or a combination of education and related industry experienceA minimum of 5 years related industry experienceAdvanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructureAdvanced skillset of 3D Coordination toolCompetency of Microsoft Office products and communication toolsAdvanced understanding of engineering or architectural conceptsKnowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specificationsExcellent communication skills, attention to detail and organizational traits are essentialWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
