Team: SketchUp
Location: Westminster, CO, Remote - US

Great design rarely happens alone. SketchUp is on a mission to make 3D design a truly collaborative experience. We are seeking a passionate Product Manager to lead our Real-Time Collaboration team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for transforming SketchUp into a connected, multiplayer medium across desktop, web, and mobile platforms. This is an opportunity to shape the future of how people create and collaborate in 3D, empowering our users to build better, together.

Responsibilities

  • Vision and Strategy: Own and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for collaboration within the SketchUp ecosystem.

  • Product Leadership: Serve as the product owner for the team, working closely with engineering, UX design, and other product stakeholders to guide features from conception to launch.

  • User Advocacy: Engage regularly with customers to develop a deep understanding of their collaboration workflows and challenges.

  • Execution and Delivery: Drive the product development lifecycle by managing the backlog, prioritizing issues, and making informed trade-offs to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with product marketing, sales and customer success to create a cohesive go-to-market strategy
    Communicate effectively: Influence and build consensus with stakeholders ranging from fellow product managers to executive leadership.

  • Data-Informed Decisions: Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to define success metrics, measure impact, and guide your product decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a product owner or product manager.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A deep passion for and experience with collaborative or multiplayer software products.

  • Experience with SketchUp in architecture, construction, or other fields, including proficiency with its desktop, web, and mobile applications.

  • Broad experience with 3D modeling, CAD or other design authoring tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Blender, Figma).

  • Strong understanding of the 3D design landscape or experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to extract key insights from customer research and user testing.

  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies for subscription-based products.

  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without formal authority.

  • Experience building products across multiple platforms (Desktop, Web, iOS, Android).

  • Technical acumen and comfort engaging in deep technical discussions with engineers.

  • Experience with SAFe or other agile development processes is a plus.
