ABOUT THE ADULT REHABILITATION CENTER The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program to assist men & women in their journey to living clean and/or sober. We are grateful for the contributions our valued employees make toward the maintenance and effectiveness of our program. As our enthusiastic and hardworking LEAD COUNSELOR, you will be responsible for (but not limited to): Under the direction of the Center Administrator the Lead Counselor is responsible for managing the Program staff providing the counseling care and education that is directly provide to clients. As a team member in the Rehabilitation area, she/he promotes a climate for effective performance and learning through her/his attitudes, willingness to teach and learn and availability to clients and staff. Encouragement is given to the individual to continue to seek experience and training, which will enhance her/his ability to work more effectively with those who seek our services. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: A. PERSONNEL AND STAFFING
2. Recruit, train, and utilize community volunteers appropriately and effectively. 3. Hold weekly program meetings to assure communication and team support. B. INTAKE OPERATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Education
High School or Equivalent (required)
Bachelors (required) Experience
Valid Driver's License and Clean MVR (required)
Bachelor's Degree (preferred) 1 years: Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (required) 1 years: Teaching or presenting material pertaining to Rehabilitation from addiction. (required) 3 years: Experience in the substance abuse field (required) Licenses & Certifications
