Visual Designer - Web

Aquent is seeking an experienced, high-performing Visual Designer for Web Marketing for our leading Tech client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual design, UX/UI design and an understanding of marketing for web-based creative. This role requires experience designing and scaling systems, implementing visual identities, prototyping, developing templates and Figma libraries, and collaborating with partners using a blend of hands-on confident creative expertise, and strong attention to detail.

The ideal candidate brings a strong, practical understanding of the latest in user experience (UX), user interface (UI) design, and visual design. They demonstrate fluency in modern design tools such as Figma and have experience creating scalable design systems and templates that support marketing goals. In addition to design expertise, the candidate will show an interest in marketing, B2B strategy, and artificial intelligence (AI) with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling visual narratives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration: Ideate, create page mockups, develop templates, and translate digital design systems.
• Pursue ways that we can work better, faster.
• Complete projects that are on-brief and polished, mitigating feedback, ultimately keeping workstreams on track.
• Experienced with presenting to an audience of stakeholders, creatives, and operations.
• Project Oversight: Manage high-profile design projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship throughout the design and implementation process, ensuring that our digital experiences meet or exceed expectations.
• Pressure test and QA ensuring content is displayed as intended for responsive design
• Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviors to inform design decisions and maintain our brand's competitive edge.
• Ensure work adheres to brand guidelines
• Amend visual asset guide as needed

Who you are:

• You have 5+ years of experience designing B2B digital experiences.
• You have a strong portfolio showcasing high-impact visual design and system-level thinking.
• You are an expert in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office.
• You have a deep understanding of typography, color theory, and layout.
• Good understanding of responsive and adaptive design; Familiar with accessibility standards and performance optimization
• You are adaptable, self-managed, have a knack for clear communication & strategic thinking, ability to inspire and motivate external partners and cross-functional collaboration.
• You are interested in emerging trends like AI and new ways of working.
• Experience in working in an enterprise organization and its constructs

Compensation Range: $45 -50/hr DOE

The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
