MID - HUMINT DECISION SCIENTIST
Location:Quantico, VA | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: TS/SCI + CI Poly Preferred

Overview
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a Mid-Level Decision Scientist to support the Defense Intelligence Agency's Supply Chain Risk Management - Threat Analysis Center (SCRM-TAC). This position assists in executing a government-developed and led training program that improves analytic workflow, productivity, and decision-making across mission-critical intelligence operations. The Decision Scientist will directly support analytic tradecraft training and continuous improvement of analytic performance through instruction, feedback analysis, and program refinement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing, executing, and instructing analytic tradecraft, analytic writing, and design training programs.
  • Support facilitation of government-led training programs to improve analytic workflow and decision-making.
  • Gather after-action reports, meeting minutes, and trainee feedback to refine training approaches and curriculum.
  • Provide support to DoD SCRM training requirements both CONUS and OCONUS as directed by the Government.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI
  • Polygraph: Counterintelligence Polygraph Preferred
  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of relevant experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience supporting analytic tradecraft, decision science, or workflow optimization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DIA or DoD analytic training and development programs.
  • Knowledge of applied decision science, cognitive bias mitigation, or data-informed decision modeling.
  • Familiarity with analytic tradecraft standards and performance measurement frameworks.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market data. DarkStar provides a competitive and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and long-term success of our full-time employees.

Additional Details
  • Travel: As required (CONUS/OCONUS)
  • Work Environment: On-site within the National Capital Region; standard duty hours with occasional flexibility.
