Job Description We're hiring a Commercial Security Installation Technician I to support enterprise-level installations across government facilities and schools. This is a hands-on role for experienced technicians who are confident installing and programming access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems. If you've worked with platforms like Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, or Software House and want to grow with a team that values reliability and technical excellence, this is a great opportunity with strong financial upside. What You'll Do * Install commercial electronic security systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and low-voltage communication * Program and install CCTV systems including Avigilon, Exacq, Axis, and similar platforms * Troubleshoot new installations to ensure systems meet code and contract requirements * Run electrical wiring including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs * Connect control panels, conceal wiring, and install security software * Drive to client sites to perform installations and ensure systems are fully operational * Complete job-site clean-up and miscellaneous tasks as assigned * Provide product familiarization training to end-users * Submit daily time entries and updates remotely What You Bring * 2-3 years of experience in physical security, fire alarm, or low-voltage communication installations * Certification or equivalent experience with major platforms like Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, Software House, etc. * Strong understanding of CCTV installation and programming * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation * Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude * High school diploma or vocational training * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines * Detail-oriented and organized * Willingness to be on-call on a rotational basis * Ability to complete remote documentation and communicate effectively Nice to Have * Experience with platforms like Milestone, DMP, Bosch, Commend, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh, ONSSI * Low Voltage D license or Alarm Installer license * Experience with cabling, alarms, and IP camera systems Why Apply? * Strong financial potential with pay based on experience * Company vehicle, gas card, phone, and laptop provided * Long-term career growth and opportunity for full-time conversion * Work on meaningful projects in government and education environments * Monday-Friday schedule, 7 AM-4 PM, with minimal office reporting Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
