This position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office & remote/work from home) or an onsite schedule and flexible hours. Candidates will need to reside near Charleston, SC to ensure work site flexibility.
Position Description
The Department Assistant is responsible for general support to the Accounting and Finance Department within ATI.
Essential Functions
- Monitor AFG Forms inbox; input required fields for staging invoices (data entry)
- Manage department leave calendar
- Receive and distribute manual and electronic correspondence
- Wiki administration support (various AF pages and documents)
- Assist with vendor verifications (e.g., TIN Matching) and processing
- Assist the team with adherence to policies and procedures
- Assist the teams within the department to help meet their required deadlines and goals
- Help fill the gaps during staff turnover, employees on leave, etc.
- General administrative support including meeting support, data entry, reporting, etc.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; Associate's degree and two years' related experience; or high school diploma and sixyears' related experience; Equivalent combination of skills and experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software tools)
- Must successfully pass a background and credit check to access sensitive information and automatedsystems.
