Job Summary To always meet customer orders and demands by operating the systems per authorized written procedures and coordinating tasks with other internal departments. Assist management to ensure production meets scheduled runs and deadlines by performing duties, including receiving raw materials and intermediate products from appropriate plant departments per designated schedules and providing support to other plant areas, as directed. Practice and promote safety, quality and sanitation by following plant policies, GMP's and procedures. Compliance with these policies, procedures and GMP's is required. In addition, you have an obligation to yourself, and your fellow employees to report any safety hazards observed including failure of others to follow safety and sanitation procedures Help to promote an employee driven environment Must have the knowledge to understand Production orders and to setup and stage orders correctly, including label generation if applicable. Also batch accuracy Using our host system, ensure that all physical movement of Raw Materials, Finished Goods, and packaging is accurately transferred, documented and processed on the computer. Create pick list utilizing FIFO Create Emulsifier batch sheets. Utilize the computer system capabilities in pulling Raw Materials for Production orders. Must be able to verify counts, quality of material, and accuracy of labeling in noting data on batch setup sheets. Must possess and exhibit good verbal communication skills to communicate with all departments and coworkers to alert management of problems or needs to ensure proper continuous operations. Utilize HACCP philosophy and procedures in everyday work routine. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. Compliance with Company policies and procedures is required. Other functions as required (non-essential functions.) Challenge established ways of doing things, push for continuous improvements, create a climate that rewards, innovation, and offer suggestions for continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to all management systems including, ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and Food Safety, with an understanding of Danisco's Quality and Environmental Policies and procedures.
