The most important thing we build is TRUST Overview The Defense Systems line of business within the CAES Integrated Defense Systems division is recruiting a Principal Business Development Manager to develop and win new business with the top tier Defense Primes, Defense Department customers, and international customers with a priority focus on the military radar or space market segments. This is a key business growth role reporting directly to the Senior Director of Business Development & Strategy for the Defense Systems line of business. This full-time position is based in the San Diego area and has an expectation of 25-50% travel. The Director will maintain the highest standards of business and technical acumen, performance excellence and integrity. Additionally, this role involves active participation in defining the company's short-term and long-term growth strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in driving business growth within either the radar technology or space systems sector. The successful applicant will possess specialized technical knowledge and experience in their area of expertise. Proven customer-facing skills and strong leadership abilities are essential; we seek either a highly experienced radar professional or a moderately experienced space systems expert. Salary Range: $164,884 - $241,548 annually (San Diego). Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base bay. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. CAES provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401K, paid holidays and vacation.
