Torch Technologies is seeking an experienced CI/CD Engineer to design, build, and support automated pipelines that streamline software build, test, and deployment processes. In this role, you will be critical in enabling rapid and reliable software delivery across our organization, supporting our engineering teams with scalable DevOps solutions.

As a CI/CD Engineer, your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications and services.

  • Integrate test automation and artifact management into the pipeline workflows.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline workflows and ensure consistent deployment practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve build, integration, and deployment issues.

  • Automate builds, testing, and deployment activities to accelerate release cycles.

  • Maintain and support version control systems and branching strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with infrastructure standards, policies, and security best practices.

  • Evaluate system performance, monitor CI/CD metrics, and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps practices.

  • Clearance Requirements: Active or eligible for DoD Security Clearance

  • Experience working with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Scripting and basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy).

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Helm, or similar tools) is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and optimization.

  • Intermediate experience with test automation and artifact management.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps tooling.

  • Effective troubleshooting and debugging skills.

  • Create and maintain system documentation, disaster recovery plans, and operational procedures for CI/CD infrastructure.

  • Provide support for cloud infrastructure services related to CI/CD workflows.

  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts.

Tools and Technologies:

  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD.

  • Version Control: Git.

  • Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.

  • Automation & Scripting: Bash, Python, Groovy.

  • Artifact Management: Nexus, Artifactory.

  • Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (optional).
