Torch Technologies is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Cloud Architect to design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure and related services. This role requires expertise in cloud provisioning, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient environments that meet customer and program needs.

As a Mid-Level Cloud Architect your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Design, implement, deploy, install, provision, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and services.

  • Configure and maintain cloud environments to meet program and customer requirements.

  • Provide ongoing support for cloud storage and backup infrastructure.

  • Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure consistent provisioning, uptime, regulatory compliance, and data protection.

  • Evaluate and analyze systems, performance, issues, and metrics; recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

  • Create and maintain standards, policies, processes, system documentation, and disaster recovery plans for cloud environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Clearance Requirements: Active or eligible for DoD Security Clearance.

  • Proven experience in cloud engineering, including design, implementation, and operations across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Strong knowledge of cloud storage, backup systems, and disaster recovery strategies.

  • Familiarity with compliance, security, and regulatory requirements for cloud environments.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance analysis tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
