The Computer/Print Lab Lead Assistant will be in charge of overseeing Computer Lab operations alongside the Computer Lab Manager and/or in the absence of the Manager. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to; Troubleshooting and Maintaining Equipment such as Computers (Hardware/Software), Plotters/Printers, Scanners, Servers, and 3D Printers; install/maintain/troubleshoot Audio and Video Equipment throughout the building, setting up files for 3D Printing, and help faculty/students with computer issues including software and hardware. In addition, the Computer Lab Lead Assistant will help investigate and implement new technologies for use in the Lab. The successful candidates will demonstrate a keen interest in new technologies and have advanced knowledge with Mac and PC environments, expertise in large format printing, advanced knowledge of software installation/activation, knowledge in server maintenance and navigation, ability to install/fix audio and video equipment, and extensive knowledge in Autodesk, Adobe Creative Cloud apps, and specialized architecture software such as Rhino and ArcGIS. Duties may require lifting equipment or objects up to 30 lbs. The Computer/Print Lab Lead Assistant may be scheduled for shifts during the Lab operating hours between 8:00AM and 10:00 PM seven days per week. This will also include providing IT assistance during special events on evenings and weekends. Minimum Qualifications Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
