Tunista. is currently recruiting for a full-time (40 hours per week) Terminal Manager (TM) at Columbus AFB, Columbus, Mississippi. Duties/Responsibilities Manage the requisition, receipt, storage, issue, quality and accounting of fuel and cryogenic products; manage the requisition and accounting of missile propellants. The Fuels Manager oversees/manages all Fuels related operations and functions. Summary of essential job functions
- Provides leadership and resolves personnel issues for personnel.
- Manages fuels budget, manage the support of transient aircraft, contract owned vehicles, military vehicles, and associated units. Develops, interprets, and enforces flight policy according to Air Force, MAJCOM, wing, squadron, and flight directives.
- Provides guidance for the successful operation of 10 special-purpose and two general-purpose vehicles, bulk fuels storage sites, and a military service station.
- Develop base support plans and fuel contingency plans as required.
- Coordinates military construction projects with local civil engineers, HQ AETC, SRM, and RM/MR and the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC).
- Complies with all technical and safety procedures related to fuel handling operations.
- Assist in training newly assigned personnel.
- Ensures compliance with environmental, occupational safety, and security programs.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Train and oversee duties of all Fuels personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have six years prior experience in a fuels aviation field, and three years experience in fuels management.
- Employee must be able to work for extended periods of time in the local outdoor environment.
- Employee must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Preferred Requirements:
- Must have completed Petroleum Logistic Management Course or equivalent.
- Must be trained to process/record energy transactions and attended the Fuels Manager Defense (FMD) Course and be current on FMD processes, training, and certifications and Lab school J3AZR2F051-001 or equivalent.
- The applicant should have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer Representative, co-workers, and customers.
Other Essential Requirements:
- The applicant must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- This individual must have the ability to read, and interpret general and governmental instructions/regulations.
- The applicant must have a valid Mississippi Driver's License.
- Be a United States citizen able to possess and maintain a current and valid class B driver's license for job locality, with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements.
- Must possess and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
- This applicant must be able to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test.
