The salary range for this role is:$66,336.66 - $109,432.93 Responsibilities: Pay range will be $70k to $87k and dependent upon experience. The Maintenance Planning Specialist plays a key role in ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency at Del Monte Foods. This position is responsible for scheduling and managing preventative maintenance activities, coordinating repairs, and optimizing maintenance programs using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). The Specialist partners closely with production, maintenance, and external contractors to plan, prioritize, and track maintenance work while maintaining cost control and compliance with food safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and experience in food manufacturing or a comparable industry. This role requires analytical thinking, collaboration across departments, and a commitment to continuous improvement to support a safe, efficient, and high-performing production environment. 
 Assign and schedule preventative maintenance work orders, and work requests, through a computerized maintenance platform. Must have the technical competence and aptitude to continually evaluate and enhance Preventative Maintenance program and processes when necessary and based on needs such as equipment changes, upgrades, and as required by the business.Manage parts spend under budget and accurately forecast purchased maintenance spending.Responsible for monitoring, assigning, tracking, and updating emergency corrective work orders in a timely manner.Evaluate the preventative maintenance program for accuracy and validity by partnering with department leads, OEM manufacturers, consulting equipment manuals, and communicating with operations partners to ensure the equipment is maintained at a satisfactory level and all aspects of equipment are being serviced at the appropriate intervals.Keep records of repeat failures and take action to enhance and optimize the preventative maintenance program when trends are noticed or deficiencies in proactive/preventative work start to impact operational run times or efficiencies. Optimize and update preventative maintenance plans and strategies when appropriate.Coordinate with production schedulers, department leads, outside contractors and the maintenance teams to accommodate and arrange work performed by the department; this includes preventative maintenance, repairs, and projects ranging from the smallest to largest scales.Maintain records and present reports regarding work backlog, manpower usage, schedule variances as per the direction of management and in accordance with the maintenance team's Key Performance Indicators.Track equipment asset numbers and locations to assure all assets are accounted for, and update asset tracking when new assets are introduced to the site.Create preventative maintenance plans for new equipment introduced to the site.Participate in and create any follow up work requests from site audits, quality walks, etc. Del Monte Foods Leadership Behaviors: As leaders we: Ground Our Teams

 Bachelor's Degree in applicable or related area (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Years of Experience 
 At least 3-5 years of related experience in a comparable industry. Skills
