Role Summary

Join Associated Bank's Wealth Management team as a Lead Personal Trust Assistant, supporting Relationship Managers in delivering exceptional service to personal trust and agency clients. In this role, you'll coordinate daily account administration, oversee complex client requests, and ensure accuracy and compliance in all trust activities. You'll have the opportunity to grow your expertise in trust and estate administration while helping clients achieve their financial goals. Key Accountabilities
  • Coordinate all aspects of daily account administration for personal trust and agency clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Partner with Relationship Managers and internal teams to resolve client inquiries and deliver high-quality service.

  • Support Relationship Managers through administrative and sales assistance, including preparing reports and presentation materials.

  • Lead and mentor Personal Trust Assistant staff, managing workflow, quality, and training initiatives.

  • Review trust documents and account assets to identify risks and ensure adherence to fiduciary standards and legal requirements.

  • Execute account transactions such as openings, distributions, and payments using online trust systems.

  • Collaborate with management to maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and client experience.

Education & Experience

Required

  • Associate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Paralegal Studies, or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years of experience in banking, office administration, or paralegal work in a trust or investment environment.

  • 2+ years of knowledge in trust, banking, or investment products, services, and practices.
