Title: Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
Location: Winter Garden, FL
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
Job Type: Full-Time / On-site
Position Overview:
As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health and strategic decision-making processes of our organization. You will lead the functions of forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and treasury management functions. Your strategic insights and financial expertise will guide the organization in achieving its short-term and long-term financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and manage the company's financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, trends, and key metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop financial models, analyze business initiatives, and assess their impact on financial performance.

Cashflow Functions:
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization's financial stability and optimal use of funds.
- Oversee banking relationships, including cash management, investment strategies, and debt financing.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange rate risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with the Controller and external auditors to support the annual audit process and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices to ensure the organization's financial practices remain in compliance.

Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and drive business growth.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiencies through financial analysis and modeling.
- Participate in strategic planning processes to align financial objectives with overall business goals and objectives.
5.
Income and Sales Tax:
- Coordinate income tax preparation activities with external CPA, ensuring timely and accurate filings. Collaborate with tax professionals, gather necessary documentation, and oversee the preparation process to comply with legal requirements and optimize tax strategies.
- Consult and advise on sales tax matters in conjunction with outside tax experts. Duties involve analyzing sales tax implications, advising the business on sales tax compliance, interpreting complex regulations, and resolving related issues to ensure regulatory compliance and a general understanding in the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree encouraged.
- CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications preferred.
- Proven experience (+10 years) in financial planning and analysis, treasury management, and strategic financial leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to senior management and external stakeholders.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift infrequently
