Position Summary Perform a limited variety of routine duties to properly maintain assigned work areas in a clean and orderly manner. Perform other related duties and handling operations as related to bag core supplies and trash removal. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work from verbal instruction and follow established procedures and practices. Work from shift specific list of duties provided by supervision. Use brooms, mops, floor scrubber, vacuum cleaner, solvents and common cleaning supplies. Move, position, or relocate equipment and supplies as necessary to clean and replace in an orderly manner. Use trash containers and/or empty containers and dispose of trash in a proper manner. As assigned or directed, operate core cutting equipment to provide bag cores cut to the specifications as documented in ISO 9001:2008 work instructions , and maintain prescribed quantities in designated area. Operate box making machine as needed. As assigned or directed, clean cafeteria, restrooms, training room(s), offices and plant areas. Clean tables, chairs, vending machines, counters, desks, office equipment, sink basins, water fountains, refrigerators, commodes, and urinals in proper manner to maintain appearance and sanitary conditions. Mop floors, vacuum carpets, sweep/shovel sidewalks, and other miscellaneous cleaning to include periodic stripping and waxing of tiled floors, washing windows and door screens, and other plant cleaning as requested. Maintain necessary inventory of cleaning supplies in an orderly manner, and inform purchasing and/or supervision of replacement supplies or equipment repairs needed. Occasionally operate Company vehicle(s) to run errands for Company materials. Record labor time on prescribed form and other information as required, including time clock operation. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations. Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.
