The Coordinator of Clinical and Translational Collaborations plays a key role in supporting research initiatives under the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) and Northwell Health (NH) affiliation, which aim to translate basic scientific discoveries into clinical advancements. This position provides essential administrative support to the Director of Clinical and Translational Collaborations and collaborates with the Manager to support operational activities. The Coordinator also acts as a key point of contact for administrative staff, scientists, and clinicians across both institutions.

Position Responsibilities

* Serve as executive assistant to the Director of Clinical and Translational Collaborations * Organize Affiliation Oversight Committee and Strategic Partnership Leadership meetings, as well as interdepartmental and cross-institutional meetings. * Collect, track, and organize translational research grant progress reports, no-cost extension requests, and closeout documentation. * Partner with the Banbury and Meetings & Courses teams to support the planning and execution of affiliation events. * Schedule recruitment visits and support the onboarding process for joint faculty and trainees * Manage logistics and coordination for educational programs, including the Summer Internship for Medical Students, the MD/PhD Program, and the Translational Research Training Fellowship. * Maintain and update the affiliation webpage and related email distribution lists * Complete data entry for affiliation reports and databases * Manage office purchases and reconcile invoices * Facilitate the execution of legal and regulatory documents in collaboration with relevant departments * Share and promote opportunities for cross-institutional training, development, and collaboration * Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: 5+ years of administrative support experience. Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills - required. Ability to prioritize projects and manage key deadlines for diverse administrative functions - required. Cognizant of, and compliant with, HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality - required. Familiarity with NIH grant requirements and guidelines - desirable. Advanced level proficiency in word processing and related computer software packages -- required. Familiarity with the academic or clinical environment --desirable.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
