SkyWater is hiring a Production Control Flow Engineer to provide "eye-in-the-sky" support for factory operation managers (FOMs), Process and Equipment Engineering, and shift Process / Equipment Technicians. Will ensure WIP movement goals are met, optimize operations tradeoffs in real time, align high-level and tactical priorities, and efficiently transfer knowledge between functions and shifts.


Responsibilities:



  • The flow engineer will assess flow throughout the fab vs. targets, moves overall, and Advanced Technology Service (ATS) vs Wafer services (WS).
  • Assess hold impacts to commitments and escalates as required for disposition.
  • Assess PM timing vs WIP flow optimization.
  • Ensure proper priority at bottleneck and pinch point tools.
  • Work with engineering on tool time requests vs. flow requirements.
  • Facilitate daily shift operations meeting.
  • Interface with incoming shift to ensure continuity.
  • Serve as a liaison between the production and engineering teams; help to identify opportunities and solutions for improved efficiency.
  • Communication lead to facilitate effective shift pass down.
  • Communicates up to the ELT level to alert leadership of upcoming challenges and current concerns. Participates as a contact in all organizational efficiency projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and project teams to ensure collaboration, visibility, and measurability.
  • Design and manage analytical data to give leadership and department leads a clear and accurate picture of organizational health


Required Qualifications:



  • 7+ years' experience in the semiconductor industry required.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and solving complex issues.
  • Intermediate Excel and MS Office Skills.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional communication (written and verbal) and project management
  • Experience building and managing data and analytics for multi-functions.
  • Demonstrated experience creating presentations.
  • C Shift - You will be assigned to C Shift, defined as Wednesday through Saturday in one week, and Thursday through Saturday in the other week, from 6:00 am - 6:15 pm, 12.25 hours per day, with a 30-minute unpaid meal period in mid-shift.
  • U.S. Person Required: SkyWater Technology Foundry, Inc. subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All accepted applications must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to lift a minimum of 12 lbs.
  • Ability to work in an office environment for 12-hour shifts.
  • Ability to work around chemicals.
  • Wear complete fab attire as needed and meet all safety and cleanroom requirements.


Desired Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Prior experience assessing and analyzing production workflow through-out the fab.
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring communication pass down between shifts.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with engineering teams to resolve production issues.
  • Experience working inside a Fab or Cleanroom
  • Knowledge of Tableau Analytics System
  • Smartsheet Creation

The annual salary range for this role is $91,200 - $136,800. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
