The base salary range represents the starting and expected pay for this position. Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance. Location 10260 McKee Road, Collegedale TN 37315 Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (other days and hours as needed) Hybrid-remote with a minimum of four days onsite per week Job Summary McKee Foods is seeking a Treasury and Financial Operations Manager. This role leads and directs the Treasury and Financial Operations and analysis functions, including cash and investment management, payroll operations, financial planning & analysis, and risk exposure strategies. This role ensures the company meets its financial obligations while supporting strategic business decisions through forward-looking financial analysis and risk mitigation. This individual will be responsible for overseeing compliance, reporting, and optimization across treasury services and payroll operations, while contributing to enterprise-wide financial planning and investment strategy. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and manage daily cash flow, short-term investments, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity and ensure capital efficiency
- Oversee corporate payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely payroll for a multi-state workforce, in compliance with all applicable laws and internal control standards
- Develop and implement strategic treasury policies including investment strategies, hedging activities, and risk management frameworks
- Direct all financial planning and analysis activities including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and performance reporting
- Manage insurance program administration, lender compliance, and debt facility modeling to ensure organizational obligations are met
- Design and execute internal controls and governance procedures for treasury and payroll operations
- Monitor and evaluate economic, regulatory, and financial market trends to identify risks and recommend mitigations
- Ensure treasury and payroll systems (e.g., Workday, banking platforms) are optimized for performance, efficiency, and compliance
- Partner cross-functionally with departments and senior leadership to inform financial decisions and long-term planning
- Maintain accurate records and regulatory reporting for welfare plans, audits, and financial disclosures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 years of relevant financial management experience
- 3 years of direct people management experience; 5+ years preferred
- CPA, CTP, CFA, CFP or CMA (at least one)
- Experience overseeing payroll operations and financial planning within a mid-to-large organization
- Demonstrated knowledge in cash management, payroll processing, investment strategy, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance
- Proficient with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting methods
- Knowledge of hedging, insurance programs, and corporate risk mitigation practices
- Strong systems knowledge (e.g., Workday, Microsoft Excel/Word), with capability in data analysis and reporting
- Effective communicator with ability to present complex financial data to leadership and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams, setting goals, and developing staff
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical capabilities
- Ability to drive strategic initiatives while ensuring daily operational excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in related field
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
- 8+ years of financial management experience
- Experience leading treasury and payroll teams in a manufacturing or complex multi-entity environment
- Working knowledge of financial risk modeling and scenario planning
- Familiarity with debt covenant monitoring, compliance testing, and lender communications
- Experience coordinating internal and external audits related to finance/payroll
