DHMC Project Manager

THE HIGH LEVEL

We're seeking a detail-oriented growth-mindset focused Project Manager to support our DISA and DoD clients. An Iron Bow Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the planning, direction, and coordination of all activities of designated global projects. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills and leadership with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement and mission success. This role requires a balance of project management discipline, technical understanding, client engagement and strategic execution to deliver projects on time and under budget. In this role, the project manager will support the DoD IT global initiatives with an emphasis on the migration of organization's applications and workloads within Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) current environment to a new Distributed Hybrid Multi Cloud (DHMC) model.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Provide project management leadership and direction by integrating internal, subcontract, prime and end-customer staff into cohesive team structures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical objectives and mission priorities into actionable project plans and deliverables.
• Effectively manage multiple concurrent medium to large-level projects.
• Provide project status reports, monitor, and track entire project lifecycle, leverage Microsoft Project reporting tools and be accountable for overall project success. This includes full financial assessment and responsibility of project profitability.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of all contractual artifacts including proposal documents, Statements of Work (SOW), deliverables, mandatory reports, CLINs, and Service Level Agreements among others.
• Maintain strong communication and relationships with DISA clients, ensuring alignment, transparency, and accountability throughout the DHMC project life-cycle.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies, implementing best practices and leveraging emerging technologies such as automation during the migration phase.
• Assess client business and technical objectives, determine deliverables, evaluate risk, and execute projects.
• Understand and apply the Iron Bow Project Management Methodology processes and procedures.
• Understand and abide by the Iron Bow ISO 9001 policies and procedures.
• Some travel will be expected as well as an expectation of after-hours work, as needed, for implementation deployment tasks, cutover tasks, etc.
• Additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is desired.
• 5-10 years prior related project management experience in IT, specifically with Department of Defense IE DISA customers, is desired.
• Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance is preferred
• Experience with cloud migration, enterprise IT modernization and migrating application or infrastructure services to AWS or Azure Cloud environments or equivalent preferred
• PMP certification is highly desired
• Knowledge of Project Management process with DISA-specific experience in enterprise solutions
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Project a must.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication skills both written and verbal and ability to present in front of small/large audiences including executives/leadership.

• Located near a DISA facility is a plus

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Position is remote with approximately 25% travel requirement.
