In DES(Design Engineering Software), it is our goal to be the undisputed leader in electronic product software solutions across the customers' workflow from early design through the manufacturing test, this includes both EDA and measurement software solutions. While the DES software focus is on accelerating the customer product design cycle with integrated circuit design and simulation software, DES's test software focus is on the design verification and test areas, where we bring state-of-the-art measurement insight to our customers.


Responsibilities

SystemVue is a physical layer communications simulation software product with team members from China, US, and India. The team has had twenty plus years of successful history and has been providing technical leadership and measurement IP for the test and measurement markets, including RF systems, emerging wireless communications and cellular applications. This team is responsible for the most algorithmically complex DSP wireless communication measurements and provides comprehensive measurements with a consistent user experience across multiple platforms, while also researching the cutting-edge wireless communication technologies for next-generation communication systems like 6G. The team is well-positioned, given the deep domain expertise, to continue to lead research and technology investigations in parallel computing, real-time capability, etc.

The successful candidate will work from Atlanta, GA or Santa Rosa, CA with an international team from different cultural backgrounds. He/she will work closely with the COEs and ISTs to deliver best-in-class measurement algorithms and to support measurement software across our design and measurement portfolios.


Qualifications

  • Master or Ph.D. degree in related area (wireless telecommunication engineering, microwave communication, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge in wireless communication physical layer simulation and implementation, DSP technology
  • Proficiency with MATLAB and C++
  • 5 years or more hands-on or related experience
  • Passionate about new technologies
  • Experienced working as part of a team spanning across many time zones
  • Proficiency in English reading/writing/speaking

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

California pay range: MIN $143,050 - MAX $238,420
