We seek an experienced Senior Security Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and management of a multi-tenant managed SD-WAN and Security infrastructure. The successful candidate will own end-to-end delivery, standardization, automation, and project execution.

This critical role ensures our solutions remain robust, scalable, and aligned with both company objectives and the evolving threat landscape. The technical leader will translate complex requirements into repeatable delivery motions and market-leading managed services.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain standardized configs, golden images, runbooks/SOPs, and compatibility baselines.
  • Manage provisioning, systems, vulnerability and performance management; translate service requirements into engineering deliverables, estimates, support models, and SLAs.

Project & Delivery Management

  • Lead planning and scheduling with clear milestones, dependencies, resources, and RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Coordinate Procurement, NOC/SOC, and IT for on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Own change control: maintenance windows, rollbacks, cutover readiness, go-live, and post-launch support; monitor deployment metrics and drive improvements.

Software & Hardware Rollouts

  • Perform readiness assessments and author installation playbooks for staging/production.
  • Oversee rack/stack, cabling, power validation, HA/clustering, and health checks.
  • Manage logistics (BOMs, procurement, inventory, shipping, RMA, spares) and asset lifecycle.
  • Plan and execute upgrades with version strategy, pre-prod validation, phased rollouts, contingencies, and automated testing.

Operational Excellence & Automation

  • Automate provisioning, compliance/posture checks, and bulk updates with tools such as Python/Ansible.
  • Implement/tune monitoring, alerts, dashboards, analytics, and reporting to meet SLAs.
  • Provide Tier3/4 support, perform RCA, implement corrective actions, and enforce standards; train teams and champion best practices.

Technology Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Run PoCs and vendor bake-offs with clear success criteria for deployment speed, operations, and cost.
  • Produce test plans and evaluation reports; recommend tools/process improvements and feed insights back into products and services.

Do you have:

  • MSSP/MSP experience delivering multi-tenant, multi-site solutions.
  • Advanced Fortinet Security Fabric skills (provisioning, management, upgrades).
  • Strong networking: BGP, OSPF, VRF; brownfield/greenfield cutovers.
  • Security expertise: firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, SWG, CASB, ZTNA, threat intelligence.
  • Solid project management: planning, scheduling, risk, stakeholder communication, change control.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Even Better:

  • Fortinet NSE 7 or NSE 8
  • Security/Project/Governance industry certifications.
  • Multi-vendor integration; SDWAN/SASE delivery
  • Familiarity with public cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and operational impact.
  • IT rollout logistics and asset lifecycle experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in SDWAN and Security engineering/architecture, including 3+ years in a senior role.
