Do you want to join one of the leading engineering consulting companies, creating value for customers, people, and societies worldwide? Can you analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions? And are you someone who is focused on solutions and finds comfort working in an environment that demands strong deliveries? Then, join us and we can be outstanding together.

Lead with a team of dedicated leaders
To partner with business leaders to execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement, we are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team to lead the US side of our HR portfolio. You will work closely with a geographically dispersed team of experts while working alongside our clients on some of North America's most significant projects.

This is an opportunity for someone who has an operational mindset that can think strategically and execute tactically within an organization that is on a growth journey. There is an exciting opportunity to lead HR in the US, mature and clarify existing processes, and design and roll out new ones that will help meet the needs of today's diverse technical talent.

Your key activities will be to:

  • Partner with business leaders to influence decision-making across the employee life cycle, with a focus on employee relations, leadership coaching, talent management, and mobility.
  • Serve as the lead HR partner for all People & Organisation matters across eight offices in the Western and Eastern U.S.
  • Advocate for and support the U.S. business by acting as a liaison between leaders, the North American HR organization, and global Centres of Excellence (COEs) on mobility, training, compensation, and other people-related initiatives.
  • Clarify, communicate, and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support coast-to-coast operations in the U.S., ensuring consistency and compliance.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a preferred professional designation.
  • 8 to10 years of progressive generalist HR experience supporting multi-state operations within the U.S. in a matrix environment, ideally within a professional services organization.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic and tactical HR responsibilities while partnering across diverse functions and leadership levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership coaching, succession planning, and talent development, with strong influencing and consulting skills.
  • Experience collaborating and driving organizational change initiatives across remotely located teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex issues, propose practical solutions, and drive implementation to completion independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of discretion, integrity, and judgment in handling confidential matters.
  • Experience working within global or matrixed organizations strongly preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP, PHRca, or equivalent) is an asset.
