We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Contracts Manager to work out of Los Angeles AFB, CA.

Pay: $99,000 - $180,000

Essential Duties:



  • Serve as a Contract Manager to provide daily supervision and quality control of a 120+ person United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) Acquisition Support Services contract.
  • Represent USfalcon and be responsible for the performance of the work throughout the term of the contract.
  • Serve as a core staff member supporting the contract effort and be available 40 hours per week.
  • Ensure performance under this contract.
  • Have full authority to act for USfalcon on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract.
  • Work through the Contracting Officer (CO), to resolve issues, receive technical instructions, and ensure adequate performance of services.
  • Serve as a point of contact for the Government representatives including the CO, Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and applicable Technical Point of Contacts (TPOCs).
  • Ensure that USfalcon employees do not perform any services outside the scope of the contract without an official modification issued by the CO.
  • Ensure that USfalcon employees operate cooperatively in an environment where responsibility for successful completion of activities described in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) are shared between the Government, Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), other support contractors, and systems engineering and technical assistance (SETA) contractors; and do not give technical directions to, or receive technical directions from, any of these groups.
  • Ensure that USfalcon is solely responsible for the actions and management of their employees, team members, consultants, subcontractors, and the execution and integration of all work performed for the task order (TO)


Required Qualifications:



  • 10+ years of Contractor experience effectively managing large (90+ person) Department of Defense (DoD) Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS)-type TOs
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Ability to operate cooperatively in an environment where responsibility for successful completion of activities described in the PWS is shared between the Government, FFRDC, other SETA Contractors, and SE&I Contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Experience providing efficient and effective customer service; maintaining project support and continuity; and providing quality and timely service and products.
  • Experience executing tasks through an Integrated Project Team (IPT) within the supported program.
  • Experience recommending approved and implemented efficiencies and process improvements that have streamlined and improved standards, plans, and processes for the Government and for contractor/contract operations.


Education/ Certification:



  • Master's degree in related field.


Required Clearance: Top Secret with eligibility for SCI
