Based in Ravenna, OH at our production facility and Parflex Division headquarters, this role offers a rare blend of shopfloor engineering and regular interaction with divisional leaders and support functions. You will work on continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate directly with operations and functional leaders, and have a close line of sight to strategic priorities - all of which increase your ability to make measurable impact and gain visibility across the division. The site is also conveniently located about 40 minutes from the Company's world headquarters, providing easy access for periodic collaboration, meetings, and broader exposure to corporate initiatives. Under limited/minimal supervision, the Manufacturing Engineer II is an experienced role that is responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment typically in a single manufacturing facility. Supports the manufacture and assembly of new and existing Parker products. Identifies improved manufacturing techniques for testing new systems and methods for efficiency, and planning assembly layouts to optimize production, quality, cost, and safety. May be responsible for developing and deploying capital projects.
