THE ROLE: We're looking for a visionary and highly accomplished technical leader to define and execute the strategic software roadmap for enterprise-scale systems. This role demands a leader who can drive the architecture and optimization of complex software solutions, explore innovative approaches, and implement advanced engineering principles. You'll be instrumental in leading, mentoring, and expanding high-performing software engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. A critical aspect of this position is orchestrating seamless cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and other global engineering teams to ensure end-to-end alignment and co-optimization, all while overseeing the full software development lifecycle and championing engineering excellence at scale across the diverse cultures of Europe. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will possess a distinguished background in strategic enterprise engineering leadership, demonstrating a proven ability to architect and deliver scalable software solutions that address critical business needs. You should have an exceptional track record of building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams, contributing significantly to talent acquisition and cultivating professional growth within a large organization. Expertise in complex cross-functional technical collaboration is paramount, with a history of successfully integrating diverse teams and achieving consensus across a broad set of stakeholders. We're looking for someone with comprehensive experience in SDLC management and continuous improvement, who can champion engineering excellence and implement best practices to elevate the maturity, efficiency, and overall quality of software development processes across enterprise-level engineering teams.
